July 5, 2021 My favourite video

Hi! Today's topic is regarding our favourite videos on YouTube and other platforms, so here we go, I guess.

First of all, I watch a lot of English-speaking creators: in fact, I think that the majority of channels I'm subscribed to. I have to confess that I'm a big fan of PewDiePie and I'm one of those people who are willing to buy YouTubers merch because I love to support creators who bring me joy, however, that's not many of them whom I'm willing to go these lengths for (but I do want this epic gaming chair from Pewds).

Meet one of my favourite creators, the honourable second place in my heart - Bailey Sarian! Bailey creates a lot of content about makeup, her daily life and true crimes - and if there's any content that I'm madly in love with - it's the true crime content for sure!

My favourite video from Bailey's channel is about Giulia Tofana - a female serial killer (or more of a sidekick for female killers) who used MAKEUP to help women get rid of their abusive husbands - because the divorce was simply a non-existent practice at the time. I like coming back to this video from time to time when I'm feeling down and vindictive - it calms me down and makes me laugh. Even though it's a true crime story, Bailey manages to narrate it in a light-hearted way so it's not too depressive.

  1. That's pretty cool! I guess because I am a man I have no need to watch makeup channels but the conversation is pretty engaging. I guess it is a generation thing because I am pretty old so I can't stand the screaming guy everyone likes. I prefer things more calm and more real, like this video. What is his appeal?! Thank you for some good work today!

  2. I know that feeling. The people we watch on YT have given us a lot of content and interesting videos. Sometimes, I too want to do something that helps them out too! I am very impressed that she can narrate a story WHILE doing make-up. Like how can she multitask like that?Does she read a script or does she face a mirror? Or is the script on the mirror...
